Abstract
In2001,the ICC (InternationalChamberofCommerce) International Court of Arbitration confirmed its position as a leading provider of international arbitrationservices.With 566 requests forarbitration,this wasmore than ever received in any previous year. Over 12,000 cases have now been submitted to ICC arbitration since its inception in the 1920s.1
