Guidelines for developing a thesis research proposal

Abstract

In academia, a research project is an integral and mandatory component of higher degree programmes. The guidelines on how to write research thesis proposals are expected to assist a student to identify and choose an academically viable research problem. The guidelines presented here below define the various concepts of an academic research. Further, the purpose of a research proposal and its contents are summarized.
