    Abstract
Strategies are critical in organization functioning. Whereas most organizations have good strategies, successful strategy implementation remains the major challenge in strategy implementation process. The notion of strategy implementation might seem quite straight forward yet in contrary, transforming strategies into actions is far more complex, difficult and challenging. This is why challenges need to be addressed because even the best strategy would be ineffective if not implemented successfully and hence overall results may not be achieved as expected. The research project was a case study on CCN. The objective of the study was to establish strategy implementation at CCN, examine the challenges faced during the implementation and determine how these challenges were addressed. In order to achieve the research objective, primary data was collected using interview guides. Personal interviews were conducted mainly to those respondents who are charged with the responsibility of implementing strategies at CCN. The study established most of the challenges of implementation as both internal and external stakeholders. To a larger extent the study found out that corporate strategy in itself, organization politics, structure and culture, government decisions, in adequate resources, poor communication, resistance to change and other uncontrollable factors as major challenges encountered during strategy implementation. The study provide CCN with useful information on how to successfully implement strategies in future by adopting appropriate styles and coming up with effective monitoring and control systems to mitigate challenges associated with strategy implementation.
