dc.description.abstractThe purpose and scope of this paper is to evaluate the place of the Commission on Administrative Justice within the view of improving access to justice in Kenya. The objective is to understand the role of the ombudsman, and to determine its challenges and prospects. The research shall rely on the research questions, research objectives and the hypothesis in order to draw an accurate and valid conclusion. The paper will discuss the problem of access to justice in Kenya; how the introduction of the office of the ombudsman can be used to mitigate the challenge of access to justice and emerge as effective forum for access to administrative justice that is sustainable. The research methodology shall include research design around the qualitative and quantitative data collection and the analysis. The outcome shall be interpreted, discussed and the conclusion shall be used to test the hypothesis. The research shall involve documentary and content analysis of legal documents, case law, publications on the administrative justice and online searchen_US
