    Abstract
The prime concern of this study is give critical attention to the form in Yusuf Dawood's autobiographical works and specifically Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, Behind the Mask and Nothing but the Truth: The Story of a Surgeon with F our Wives. Our study in its examination of the forms of the autobiographical works is guided by the tenets of the Theory of Autobiography and Formalism. The theory of autobiography will help us identify what marks out the genre of autobiography from other forms of writings. Formalism will on the other hand help us look at the overall structure and the deliberate ordering of the literary works. The study has focused on the structure of the autobiography and how these have contributed to the overall cohesiveness of the text. Certain aspects of the style in the autobiography have also been looked into.
