In discussions on international development, cash transfer programs are often highlighted as highly effective methods for reducing poverty, particularly in developing countries. These programs have been recognized as crucial for women's development, empowering them economically and promoting equal access to economic resources. This, in turn, enhances women's control over these resources. The objectives of the study entailed an analysis of the effect of resource mobilization gender roles, decision-making gender roles, leadership gender roles and labor division gender roles on performance of conditional cash transfer in Burao, Somaliland. The study was also based on two theories which are social role theory and gendered institution theory. Descriptive survey design was adopted, the target population was 14,705 while the sample size was 109. Gathering of information in this inquiry was aided by the questionnaire hence it was primary in nature. Processing of the gathered information was achieved in descriptive and inferential terms. It became evident after analysis that holding other variables constant at zero, the program's performance was found to be 0.854. Significant relationships were identified, as evidenced by the substantial increases in performance associated with a unit increase in resource mobilization (88.5%), decision making (69.5%), leadership (56.9%), and asset creation (77.4%). It was concluded that gender roles are significant predictors of performance of conditional cash transfer programme in burao, Somaliland. The study recommended that managers working with conditional cash transfer programme in Somaliland should improve gender equity in resource mobilization by implementing measures to ensure that both genders have equal access to program resources. To enhance active participation from both genders in decision-making processes, the CCT program should consider creating platforms or forums that encourage and facilitate the engagement of program participants in important decisions. The program should develop and implement policies and initiatives to promote gender diversity in leadership roles. The program should work to ensure that all participants, regardless of gender, have equal access to financial services by addressing any existing disparities. Further study was suggested to investigate the long-term effects of the CCT program on gender roles, economic empowerment, and overall development within the Burao community.
