Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study delves into the intricate dynamics of the workforce within an educational institution, aiming to enhance our understanding of employee performance, emotional skills, and related factors. Through a comprehensive survey, the study scrutinized qualifications, duration of service, job performance, and various demographic aspects. The findings revealed a diverse workforce with qualifications ranging from KCSE certificates to master's degrees. Emotional skills, as evidenced by social awareness, were found to significantly impact performance, emphasizing the need for targeted training initiatives.
The study also identified key areas for job performance enhancement, such as workload distribution and provision of necessary materials. Recommendations encompass emotional skills training, tailored interventions for different job levels, and leadership development programs. Additionally, suggestions for future studies propose exploring cultural influences, evaluating technological interventions, and analyzing remote work dynamics. This research lays a foundation for optimizing workforce strategies in educational institutions, fostering a positive organizational culture, and promoting sustained employee well-being and performance
