This research project aims to tackle the pressing issue of immunization defaulting among children under the age of two years in Busia County Kenya, particularly focusing on understanding the underlying drivers, exploring available information systems, and developing a predictive model to identify defaulters. By leveraging a blend of desk reviews, questionnaires, literature reviews, and interaction with stakeholders, the study seeks to uncover individual, healthcare system, socioeconomic, and political factors contributing to defaulting. Using the CRISP-DM methodology, the project aims to develop a predictive model for forecasting defaulters, ultimately contributing valuable insights to inform targeted interventions and policies.en_US
