The adoption of e-Health technology is crucial for improving patient access to healthcare services, but its uptake remains low at Migosi Level Four Hospital in Kisumu County, Kenya. This study aimed to assess the impact of organizational factors on the adoption of e-Health in public health facilities, focusing on financial capability, organizational context, leadership styles, and linkages and collaborations. Guided by the technology acceptance theory, systems theory, and resource-based view theory, the study employed a mixed-methodology approach using both descriptive survey and phenomenological research designs to capture quantitative and qualitative data. The target population consisted of 8,109 respondents, with a sample of 328 determined using Yamane’s Formula. Stratified sampling was used to create five strata based on hospital departments, with respondents selected through random, stratified, and purposive sampling techniques. Data collection involved questionnaires for medical staff and interviews and focus group discussions for hospital administrators and patients. Instrument validity was confirmed through expert judgment, while reliability was measured using the split-half technique, yielding a reliability coefficient of 0.725 via Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis was thematic and statistical, using SPSS Version 23 for descriptive and inferential analyses, including Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation. The study found that e-Health adoption in Migosi Level Four Hospital is hindered by various organizational factors, including financial limitations, leadership, and collaboration issues. It recommends that the Ministry of Health and hospital administrators secure more funding, foster a conducive environment for e-Health adoption, and implement leadership strategies that engage key stakeholders to enhance healthcare access.en_US
