The aim of this study was to investigate how the implementation of remote work strategies affects the performance of projects, specifically concentrating on the Safaricom PLC Baze Video Platform located in Westlands, Nairobi County, Kenya. The research employed a descriptive research framework and focused on a group of 300 employees. Stratified proportionate random sampling was employed to select 172 participants for this study. Self-administered questionnaires were utilized to gather primary data, and the analysis was performed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21.0. The research indicated that the performance of the platform was positively impacted by communication and collaboration in remote work settings, with effective communication and collaboration playing a pivotal role in driving positive project outcomes. Remote work technology also demonstrated a positive influence, with specific aspects like connectivity, technological training, and device reliability notably impacting platform performance. However, remote work performance management yielded a surprising outcome, with a negative influence on project performance. The project performance in remote settings exhibited a downward trend due to the impact of the physical work environment, underscoring the importance of creating a conducive physical space to improve the effectiveness of remote work. Remote work policies exhibited an insignificant effect on project performance. These findings provide important insights into the complex interplay of remote work dynamics and project performance, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies that acknowledge the significance of effective communication, technology support, and appropriate management practices, while also recognizing the multifaceted nature of the remote work environment.en_US
