    Abstract
    This is a linguistic analysis English variety in Kenya and is of Kiswahili and local languages mutual intelligibility. of "Kenyanized" English an characterized by the inclusion lexemes in it's quest to ensure In this analysis the author has focused mainly on the Kiswahili effects on Kenyanized English (KE henceforth). The author has specifically looked at two levels of analysis in his study. These are the lexical and syntactical levels of analysis. Effects of Kiswahili on these two levels have been analyzed and a conclusion made .
