Synthesis and binding studies of ring constrained glucagon analogues

Abstract

The aim of this study was to design and synthesize glucagon antagonists,which alone or in combination with insulin may be of potential therapeutic value in the treatment of Diabetes mellitus.Glucagon and twenty new cyclic glucagon analogues were synthesized using both manual and automated Na-Fmoc solid phase peptide synthetic protocol SPPS).
