    Abstract
    This study set to explore the Recruitment and Selection practices of employees among International Non-governmental organizations operating in Kenya. The study was founded on the premise that International NGOs have certain unique characteristics which influence their behavior and how recruitment and selection is practiced. This paradox led to the objectives of the study which was to; establish the staff recruitment and selection practices used and establish the challenged faced by the International NGOs operating in Kenya in employee's recruitment and selection. The study narrowed down to recruitment and selection among the International NGOs leaving out the National NGOs which employs a different method altogether. In a glowing yet little known aboutworkinq in the International Organizations many parents and fresh graduates have expressed their desire to work in those organizations yet there is little or no information available for them on what goes on in the recruitment and selection. The study will therefore shed some leading light on common practices and the challenges encountered that influence the recruitment and selection of employees in this well paying yet not permanent jobs in the International Non governmental organizations.
