Information systems downtime at points or service: A Study of banking institutions in Kenya
Abstract
Information systems downtime (lSDT) in industry, the public and private sector results in
great losses yearly. System crashes in production environments can lead to material and
non-material damages. Only those with a functional risk management understanding have
a grasp of the potential hazards. This study investigates how the banking industry responds
to "High Availability" (RA) solutions that have been a subject of great research in the last
few years.
The availability of data is one of the most costly investments of every organization.
