dc.description.abstractIt is generally acknowledged that Electronic Commerce (EC) technologies are revolutionizing the way of doing business. Many e-commerce researchers and practitioners have recognized the importance of e-commerce technology and its applications for the success of organizations. However, despite the increasing widespread use of EC Technologies very few studies have attempted to examine their use in organizational con1ext. Thus, this research examines the use of these technologies from an innovation perspective, and uses a model derived from innovation literature to test factors that enable initiation, adoption and implementation of a set of sixteen distinct technologies that facilitate e-commerce.en
