Clinic information system

Abstract

The aim of the project was to develop a clinic information system that was in line with the bank clinic processes and procedures. Barclays Bank of Kenya required a cost effective computer based information system developed that would increase efficiency and performance of the clinic function as a whole and the clinic staff in particular while taking advantage of developments in modern technology. The system currently in place is mostly manual and does not cover the bank clinic needs appropriately. Activities covered successfully under the project included feasibility study, requirement analysis, requirement specification, logical system specification, physical design, system development and testing, documentation and report writing. This lead to a computer based product that satisfied the users requirements
