Studies on Sasakian, Lorentzian para (LP)-Sasakian manifold and other related manifolds

Abstract

The study of tensors in differentiable manifolds that vary in structure have attracted many researchers. In this thesis out of many newly defined tensors W2 -curvature tensor and W4 -curvature tensor have been studied in Sasaki an, Para-Sasakian, LP-Sasakian and A-Einstein Sasakian manifolds using index-free notations. It has been found that W] - and W4 -curvature tensors satisfied some unique properties and symmetries that reflected the distribution pattern which can be associated with the fundamental tensor and matter tensor in these tensors
