    Abstract
    Nutrient levels in macrophytes and sediment in the shallow water zone were determined nutrient release from sediment , macrophytes in the shallow water zone and the spatial and temporal distribution of nutrients a in water were investigated , In addition nutrient standing stocks in various components were calculated along with-inputs to the lake from drawdown and other sources • . Average nutrient levels in the macrophytes varied on a dry weight basis: P 0.13 - 0032%; N 0.70·- 1.17%; and S 0.04 - 0.23%. Nutrient levels in sediment on a dry weight basis were o e P0.03%;
