Complications of thyroid operations:A study at Kenyatta National Hospital

Abstract

A retrospective study fran case notes of one hundred. and six patients who had thyroid operations between January 1982 and December 1985 was done. A report is given on age, sex, laryngoscopic results, types of operation, Drains, histo­ pathological diagnosis, complications and its relation to the type of operation and the histopathological diagnosis.
