dc.description.abstractThe van der Waal equation of state is redefined in a functional manner that reveals some additional critical parameters and presents the ideal gas temperature as a lower limit to the van der Waal gas temperature. The law of corresponding states is also shown to apply to the lower limits of reduced temperatures.
