Saturation effects on collision broadened rotational lines

Abstract

Saturation effects on a three‐dimensional rigid rotator are studied as an extension to several previous works by Gross and the author. The solutions which are obtained for the Karplus–Schwinger (K–S) and the Gross–Lebowitz (G–L) models exhibit a further broadening of the absorption lines.
