    Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to assess the factors that influence Communication within Public Corporations in Kenya. The efficacy of the communication process within public corporations affects their productivity. These factors were ranked and the researcher found that lack of education, a downward flow of communication, and lack or technological advancement hamper communication within Telkom Kenya. A higher proportion of employees is not educated and thus is not conversant with using the Internet, faxing, reading .. company publications and internal memos. However, majority of the staff depend on verbal and internal memos as their source of information.
