Abstract

"The form in which migration information is likely to be provided from the 1991 Census [of the United Kingdom] is reviewed, and suggestions are made about how this provision can be improved for the academic research community, building on the experience of the 1981 Census. The recommendations add considerable value to the information at relatively low cost."
