Abstract
This book contains 27 papers which were presented at a series of workshops on irrigation farming in Kenya and Zimbabwe. The papers emphasize the role of smallholder irrigation projects and discuss the ways of increasing farmer management and viability of projects. Other areas discussed include water use efficiency, institutional capacity, microscale irrigation, research, health and environmental issues.
