Characteristics of older adults and the aging: Some comments.

Abstract

Educators, as well as nursing personnel and others working with older adults, are urged to familiarize themselves with the many strengths (e.g., learning and physical abilities) of the aging. Higher enrollments of older adults are noted in Adult Basic Education programs in community colleges. An overview of the characteristics of older adults is presented.
