Comparative Studies On The Water Balances And Functional Renal Anatomy Of Several Species Of Uganda Ruminant

Abstract

Comparative studies on the water balance and related physiological phenomena of goats obtained from three distinct geographical zones of Uganda and one or more representatives of each of species from three distinct geographical zones of Uganda are presented and discussed. These studies were conducted under various precisely controlled ambient conditions of temperature and water availability in order to determine the adaptations and adaptabilities of these animals to those conditions.............
