Abstract
This chapter introduces the Earth Charter and discusses its value as a tool for teaching about sustainable development in the university classroom. The chapter includes examples of how some U.S. faculty members are using the Earth Ch arter in their courses and provides a selected list of Earth Charter teaching resources.
