    Abstract
Following the Vice-Chancellor’s visit to the University of Washington in October 2011, the University of Washington expressed a strong interest in expanding the existing collaboration to other areas of specialization, specifically in the area of climate change and global health, which culminated into the visit from January 25, 2012 and February 1, 2012. During the visit, the University of Washington team made a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor where a range of possible areas of collaboration were discussed. During the courtesy call, the Vice-Chancellor commended the long standing collaboration between the two universities and its resultant positive contribution to training and research at our University. He looks forward to an expanded collaboration in areas of climate change, and managing the impact of the same on health and environment.
