    Abstract
the study evaluated a tsetse repellent technology developed for the control of tsetse-transmitted trypanosomosis in cattle. The technology comprised a repellent, 2-methoxy 4-methylphenol. emitted from dispensers attached to collars worn around the necks of cattle. it was concluded that the technology in its current form does not yet offer an adequate level of protection to merit further development as a commercial product.
