The main purpose of this study was to find out how needs of persons with disabilities have been included in planning development and management of community infrastructure within an urban setup, Nairobi was chosen as the area of study. An assessment of how the needs of the physical handicapped and visually impaired and hearing impaired have been addressed was made. The guiding principle was that a community infrastructure is a public good whose benefits should be exploited to benefit all persons.
