Post-mortem examination of 8 donkeys used in an experimental study of Trypanosoma congolense in Kenya revealed the presence of Gasterophilus nasalis in 8, Cyathostomum tetracanthum in 7, Habronema muscae in 5, Strongylus in abscesses in 2, S. vulgaris in the cranial mesenteric artery in 5, S. edentatus and S. vulgaris in the caecum and colon in 3, Setaria equina in 2 and Oxyuris equi in 1.
