Abstract
Synovial osteochondromatosis of the right hip joint was found PM in a 5 year old female German Shepherd with a history of severe lameness. Gross and histological findings showed multiple metaplastic cartilaginous nodules that had undergone osseous metaplasia in the joint capsule and synovial membrane.
