Challenges of policing in Africa

Abstract

Police forces play in important role in every state and in all democratic societies. The police force is one of the organs of the state responsible for the proper administration of justice, law and order, thereby providing a safe environment guaranteeing the respect and enjoyment of basic rights by all citizens.
