    Abstract
This research determined the nutritional status of children aged 7-36 months and the associated demographic, dietary and morbidity factors. About 25% of the children were stunted, 11% underweight and 7% wasted. 95.4% and 62.6% of variance in stunting and wasting respectively was attributed to maternal weight, complementary feeding practices and morbidity. Variation in underweight at 88.2% was only attributed to decreased food intake.
