    Abstract
oday, nearly all organization has its workforce composed of individuals from each of the existing generation. As such, organizations face a challenging task of minimizing the friction and maximize the assets of distinct sets of work values and styles simultaneously arising from each generational side in the workplace. This study thus sort to; explore the generational composition of Mathari hospital's workforce, assess the nature of differences among these generations and establish existing inter-generational conflicts at the hospital the possible ways of addressing such conflicts. The study found that four generational groups exist in Mathari hospital's workforce, each generation has unique work related attributes, generational difference has often led to conflicts between generations, and that few mechanisms to address intergenerational conflicts have fully and successfully been implemented at the hospital. As such, the study has suggested a number of recommendations whose implementation shall ensure intergenerational conflicts at workplaces are minimized if not fully eradicated.
