    Abstract
    David Robertshaw was appointed as the first professor of the department of veterinary physilogy in 1969. The lecture discusses the physiology of animals and justifies the existence of a department of animal physiology in the University of Nairobi. The lecture attempts to examine the relationship between animal and man physiology, and describes the sex life of Tilapia
