dc.description.abstractIn the case of Kenyan academic institutions such as public secondary schools, the fruit of institutional capacity is the academic achievement of the students as reflected in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results at the end of the four year course. Keeping in view all of the variables discussed by different other researchers, the researcher chose only those variables that are recognizable in the Kenyan educational system.
