Industrial Visit

Abstract

The Geospatial Engineering Students Association, in conjunction with the Department of Geospatial and Space Technology organized an industrial visit to the Regional Center for Mapping of Resources for Development, RCMRD, at their official premises, Nairobi.

The center offers mapping of resources as a service to countries in East, Central, and Southern Africa region. Students were through real-time processing of satellite imagery for different uses.
