    Abstract
The University of Yaounde 1 on behalf of the Consortium Universities is pleased to inform you that the new AFIMEGQ project funded by European Commission’s Easmus Mundus Programme has been launched and that the call for applications is open until 31st March, 2013. University of Nairobi is a member of this Consortium and UoN students and staff are encouraged to apply for the right scholarship mobility. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that within the AFIMEGQ Project there are several African Institutions who will offer a wide range of academic opportunities that will be of interest to potential postgraduate students and staff seeking mobility. The universities include: University of Yaounde 1 (Yaounde, Cameroun), Mohammed 1er University (Oujda, Morocco), El Manar University (Tunis Tunisia), University of Nairobi (Nairobi, Kenya), University of Addis Ababa , EiABC (Addis , Ethiopia), Cheik Anta Diop University,(Dakar, Senegal), University of Ndjamena (Ndjamena, Chad), University of Kinshasa (Kinshasa, DRC), University of Stellenbosch (Stellenbosch, South Africa) and Copper belt University (Kitwe, Zambia) In the project’s website www.afimegq.org, you will find a flyer which contains important information regarding the application process, available scholarships and mandatory documents. Potential candidates interested in this new scholarship mobility are advised to carefully read all the available information, namely the applicant’s guide and the frequently asked questions (FAQs) and prepare the necessary documents and information as soon as possible so as to submit a successful application. Applicants are therefore invited to consult the participation conditions in the project’s website. Please note that UoN potential postgraduate students and staff qualify only for target I mobility within the consortium except University of Nairobi. Please do not hesitate to contact the coordinating institution (UY1) or the UoN CIPL for more details Director, Center for Intl Programmes and Links University of Nairobi Gadhi Wing Room 213 International@uonbi.ac.ke
