Induction of new staff

Abstract

University of Nairobi policy, the School of Economics held an induction meeting for new staff on Monday 2nd March 2015. The aim is to ensure effective integration of new staff so that they can deliver efficient and effective services. The staff was inducted on University teaching procedure, examination procedure, research and consultancy procedure and non-teaching responsibilities.The new staff was also inducted on ISO process, performance contracting, and corruption prevention activities. They were requested to familiarize themselves with University of Nairobi policies on various issues and to always seek clarification and guidance with respect to their duties and responsibilities at the School from the Director.
