Ethnicity, gender and violence in Kenya

Abstract

This article examines the ethnicallydiscriminatory nature of Kenya’s refugee policy, its influence on the administration and practice of refugee affairs, especially by relief agencies, and its role in encouraging sexual violence against women refugees.
