| dc.description.abstract | The 2011 University of Nairobi Annual Report continues the commitment made two years ago by the University to capture the main activities of academic departments and administrative units on an annual basis. This Report therefore has outlined activities at the School/Faculty/Institute level. The Annual Report has outlined programmes on offer, admission statistics, graduation statistics, research links and collaboration, papers presented at international meetings, publications, corporate social responsibility activities and the financial statement. In this way, the University envisages providing an account of itself within its stated mandate of Research, Teaching, Consultancy and Corporate Social Responsibility.We also highlight the ICT infrastructural position of the University as well as the financial status of the august institution — which have enabled the University to carry out its activities and live up to its motto “ Unitate et labore”.
