Deep intermuscular spindle-cell lipoma

Abstract

We report the case of a 58-year-old man who presented with a deep intermuscular spindlecell lipoma. By pressure on the neurovascular bundle this tumor caused neurological symptoms in the affected leg. The clinical presentation, investigations, surgical intraoperative findings, the gross pathology findings are described and the surgical outcome and prognosis are discussed.
