Confucius Institute held the opening ceremony for the summer camp for high school students

Abstract

The Chinese club in Alliance girls high school is one of the 20 Chinese clubs in primary and secondary schools who collaborate with Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi. Owning to the effort of two teachers, one of whom was a member of the Chinese Choir, and the other was the student of CI and is doing M.A in Tianjin Normal University, the Chinese Club started Chinese classes 8 months ago. In March, all the students in the club took HSK (Chinese proficiency) exam and got good marks. In order to award those who studied hard we organize this trip. Hope they could study harder and serve Kenya better in the future.
