Sulfur supplementation of Hereford X Boran steers grazing Sorghum almum

Abstract

Two groups of Hereford X Boran castrated cattle grazed on fertilized grass (Sorghum almum) with sulphur 0.11 to 0.18% for 10 months. Weight gain by those given a salt lick with 8% sulphur did not differ significantly from that of controls given salt alone
