    Abstract
The location of Kenya's geothermal fields is shown. The chemistry of the low enthalpy fields is given and reservoir temperatures estimated from these data. The most promising of these fields are the Mwananyamala, Homa Mountain and Kapedo geothermal fields, which could be developed for numerous uses, among them small-scale electric power generation, salt extraction, food industries and refrigeration. All other fields can be useful in animal husbandry and crop drying uses.
