Abstract
Judith Owigar, an alumni of the School of Computing and Informatics, Class of 2007, was one of the three entrepreneurs who shared the stage with Presidents Barack Obama and Uhuru Kenyatta at the plenary opening of the 6th annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). Judith is the Co-founder and President of Akira Chix (http://akirachix.com/) a not for profit organisation that aims to inspire and develop a successful force of women in technology who will change Africa’s future. Judith is currently in the final stage of the MSc in Applied Computing at SCI
