Varsity's 53rd graduation ceremony:4th September 2015

Abstract

The University of Nairobi celebrated the 53rd graduation ceremony on Friday, 4th September 2015 with a total of 5,301 graduands. The graduands were drawn from 4 Colleges; College of Agriculture and Veterinary Services, College of Biological and Physical Sciences, College of Architecture and Engineering and College of Education and External Studies.Out of the 5,301 graduands, 3,432 graduands were drawn from the College of Education and External Studies. The School of Education produced a total of 761 graduands with 171 graduating with Masters Degrees, 588 with various Bachelor’s Degrees and 2 graduates were awarded Diplomas. The Dean, Prof. Akala who was also part of the academic Procession congratulated the graduating class of 2015. The graduation ceremony presided over by the Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi was held at the at the Graduation Square grounds.
