dc.description.abstract | Five hundred and sixty-four milk samples from clinical cases of mastitis were examined during a five-year period. Half of the organisms isolated were either staphylococci or streptococci, a fifth corynebacteria and a third Gram-negative bacteria. Antibiotic sensitivity test results are reported for a majority of the isolates. Subclinical mastitis was detected with the California mastitis test in 49% of the cows examined. | en_US |
