    Abstract
Organizational performance is a perennial theme in strategic management research. Researchers have found that strategy content influences organizational performance. The way strategy content influences organizational performance can be determined by several factors which may include quality management practices and organizational factors. The purpose of the literature review was to establish the current state of knowledge on the effects of quality management practices and organizational factors on the relationship between strategy content and organizational performance. The literature reveals the effects of single variables of quality management practices and organizational factors on performance. The intervening effect of quality management and moderating effect of organizational factors on the relationship between strategy content on performance is not known. Further, the joint effects of strategy content, quality management practices and organizational factors on performance have not been established. The literature further reveals that there is no agreement on what dimensions of overall organizational performance are, or on how they should be measured. None of the studies reviewed have jointly applied structural equation modeling and partial least squares in data analysis of the mentioned variables. The literature review culminates into a conceptual framework of stated variables on performance. Finally, the review suggests a number of future research directions and implications of the study on policy decisions.
